Golf tournament was a successful networking event for Woodlands Chamber
The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the Putt, Pass, and Chip Golf Championship on Monday at The Woodlands Resort. The networking event gave local businesses a chance to enjoy a day of golf and food while connecting with other companies in the community. With sponsors at each hole of the Panther Trails course, players had the opportunity to take home prizes, including a brand-new Lincoln for a Hole-In-One.
Chamber President JJ Hollie was in attendance and was very pleased with the event.
“The weather was gorgeous, said Hollie. It was nice to be on a golf course and not feel like you were playing inside of an oven. The Woodlands Resort is a fantastic resort with an excellent course. Panther Trails always treats us nice.”
Hollie said events like the Putt, Pass, and Chip Golf Championship are important because they help tie together the Chamber’s core focus areas.
“The Chamber has four core focus areas, said Hollie. One is creating marketing and networking opportunities. Another is creating relationships. We want to provide members with opportunities to market their companies, but also to meet people in their community and build friendships as well.”
