THE WOODLANDS, TX – Hurricane resource links and important information for The Woodlands Area.

  • The Woodlands Township announced that Waste Management reports no suspension of service; however there may be delays due to roadway impediments. If your route is delayed, please leave your cart at the curb until service occurs. For those with waste service on Thursday, it is advised to set carts at the curb in the morning to avoid heavy winds. Call Waste Management directly at 1-800-800-5804 for any concerns.

  • Evacuation Orders, Disaster Declarations & Proclamations by Governor Abbott, and Reception Centers for Evacuees can be found at the Office of the Texas Governor’s website. Resource Link
  • The Montgomery County Hurricane Laura Call Center is now open, at 936-523-3918. Montgomery County OHSEM asks that you please remember during times of a disaster, only use 911 if it is a life-threatening emergency.
  • Township Transit services will be suspended August 26 and August 27.
