Parati Captures State Championships

The best teams in Texas gathered in Austin April 13-14 to battle it out at the Texas Rowing Championships amidst wind, rain, and disruptive schedule changes. Despite these challenges, and many canceled events, Parati captured 6 State titles and more medals (25) than any other program in the state. Both the Girls and Boys teams won State trophies. The Open weight girls won in the 2-, and the Lightweight Girls dominated by winning the Lightweight 8+, the JV 8+, and the Lightweight 4+. The Boys triumphed in the 4+ and the 2-. This team has its sights set on winning bids to Youth Nationals at the upcoming Regional qualifier in OKC on May 4-5, and their performance at States promises exciting racing ahead.
