From restaurants and clothing stores to theme parks and everything in between, businesses tend to shape our life experiences. When some of those places eventually close, they leave behind memories of what life was like years ago. Every town has them and every person knows of one. The businesses we frequented in our youth or visited with our families captures our attention and brings back fond memories of yesteryear. The efforts required to run those companies are worthy of us taking a few moments to remember them and how they helped shape our lives. Here are a few businesses, theme parks and organizations that once made their home around The Woodlands area.
Commissioner R. Jack Cagle of Harris County Precinct 4 and Commissioner James Noack of Montgomery County Precinct 3 have entered into an interlocal agreement for the construction of a new Gosling Road bridge and roadway over Spring Creek and additional drainage improvements. The Montgomery County and Harris County improvements require additional property for the roadway and new detention facilities to meet the drainage criteria. The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) is donating a total of approximately eight acres of land for project improvements.
On May 28, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the HEB parking lot located in the 7310 block of Louetta Road in reference to an Aggravated Robbery.
On May 31, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 2300 block of Whitelake Drive in reference to an Aggravated Assault.
Since early March of 2020, The Woodlands Township has served as the key source of consolidated information and resources to help The Woodlands residents and businesses confront the pandemic.
