Slugfest 2019 is powering up for an incredible 15th year, bringing together dozens of area high school, junior high, staff/faculty and adult teams to compete in the popular coed softball tournament fundraiser, held December 6-7, 2019 at the SMGSL and ORWALL fields on Pruitt Road. The double-elimination tournament has attracted thousands of players, parents, school staff and community fans over the years for a weekend of softball in a friendly competitive atmosphere. Teams in the Conroe ISD area and from neighboring school districts such as Klein, Spring, Montgomery and Magnolia are encouraged to participate.

Slugfest 2019 registration packets for high school, junior high, school staff/faculty and adult coed teams are now available online at and include rules, rosters and medical waiver forms. Registration is $20 per player and includes a commemorative Slugfest 2019 T-shirt and two-game guarantee.

Slugfest 2019 will also feature the annual homerun derby for registered players and a raffle fundraiser. Slugfest 2019 offers free gate admission for fans to enjoy tournament games, the homerun derby, music from a live DJ and food concessions.

Team entries and payment are due Friday, November 1, 2019 in The Woodlands College Park High School office. Team captains may also mail forms and payment, postmarked by November 1, 2019, to the Cavalier Dugout Club, P.O. Box 133054, The Woodlands, TX 77393.

Slugfest 2019 runs Friday afternoon – Saturday evening, December 6-7, 2019 at the SMGSL softball fields and ORWALL baseball fields on Pruitt Road. The Slugfest 2019 coed softball tournament is the main fundraiser for The Woodlands College Park High School Cavalier Dugout Club. The Cavalier Dugout Club supports Cavalier Baseball throughout the year, organizing volunteers and raising funds to purchase much-needed team and field equipment not provided by the school district. The Cavalier Dugout Club is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
