Front Desk Receptionist for Multi-Provider Psychology Office Woodlands Family Institute Is Seeking
Woodlands Family Institute is seeking a Receptionist/Front Desk Administrator. We are interviewing articulate and hard-working candidates with excellent interpersonal skills who are able to build relationships with patients and their families to provide a warm, welcoming environment. Candidates must also have the skills to interact with providers and be able to provide good information over the phone to prospective clients.
The person for this position will be responsible for greeting patients, obtaining new patient information, maintaining patients' billing records, and directing incoming calls in a courteous manner. The right person for this job will be someone who is self-motivated and a team player who sees the whole picture and fills in where needed without having to be asked. This person will be a part of other support duties that contribute to the overall efficiency and running of the office, such as:
Welcomes patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of the patient’s arrival.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges.
Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Manages incoming and outgoing mail.
Other duties as assigned by the office manager.
