Ability and Beyond is seeking an upbeat, warm, compassionate, and hard-working Physical Therapist who sees the glass half full and the silver lining in every situation.
Ability and Beyond is a therapist-owned pediatric therapy practice in the beautiful Woodlands, TX, ranked number one in the nation’s best places to live. Our boutique clinic houses advanced state of the art equipment such as a fully equipped Sensory Gym, an Outdoor playground and play spaces, an Interactive Metronome and QRI laser.
We are an energetic, fun-loving team and are looking for therapists who want to make an effective difference in children's lives. We have a strong commitment to evaluate and treat the whole child and in being there to empower families to maximize each child's potential. We are an experienced and dedicated staff who provide innovative therapy in our unique sensory clinic. We boast a joyous, supportive culture that supports and celebrates each member.
Our therapists provide physical therapy services to children birth through 21 in a sensory gym, using the therapeutic approaches that best meet the child’s unique needs.
Diagnoses range from autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, torticollis, toe walking, coordination disorders, and sensory integration disorders to musculo-skeletal and movement disorders. Among the areas we address are sensory motor processing, praxis, gross motor development, and reflex integration.
Applicants must have a fervent desire to grow and expand the existing Physical Therapy program, which may include mentoring of field work students. Applicants must also be flexible, a team player, independent with self-management, and willing to go that extra mile to provide clients with the best treatment available. One must be willing to collaborate with parents to set functional goals, offering them guidance, education, and support and being an integral part of their team to help their child.
The best candidates for this job are therapists with demonstrated leadership ability, who are upbeat, organized and self motivated problem solvers wishing to be part of a dedicated team of therapists. Candidates should also be willing to participate in team meetings, workshops, program development and our spring break and summer camp programs.
