Montgomery County Sheriff and Montgomery County Search and Rescue searching for missing Magnolia teen
MAGNOLIA, TX -- UPDATE: Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation into the disappearance of a Magnolia area teen. Several agencies assisted in the search during the nighttime hours including blood hound tracking dogs and trained Search and Rescue volunteers. Despite their efforts, Ryder was not found in the wooded area where her UTV and phone were found; however, the search is being expanded beyond the initial wooded area. Detectives are looking into all possible scenarios surrounding her disappearance. We urge the public against plans of forming private search partiesas the inclement weather we are experiencing could pose a risk to untrained volunteers. The
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is in contact with trained search and rescue organizations who are used in investigations such as this.

Ryder Cambron was last seen leaving her home in the 205000 block of Imperial Oak Drive, Magnolia, Texas just prior to 8 PM on September 17, 2019. The UTV that she was operating was later found at a park near her home along with her cell phone. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and Montgomery County Search and Rescue is in the area looking for Ryder and have concern for her safety due to the inclement weather expected to hit the area tonight, and the wooded area where she was last seen.
