It’s Tee Time with a Twist at The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Putt, Pass and Chip Golf Tournament presented by Planet Lincoln is set for Monday, October 28 at 9 a.m. at The Golf Trails of The Woodlands. Tickets and sponsors opportunities are available at

The annual event is the No. 1 networking golf tournament in The Woodlands. Players enjoy 18 holes in a shotgun-style format, lunch, awards and prizes. This tournament is a twist on the classic game where everything is sports-themed!

Players are encouraged to dress in their favorite team’s gear and course games include themed mulligans and extra point packages for an added advantage and the “Sports Misfortune Wheel,” where players take a spin and tee off with whatever sports equipment they land on – from softball bats and hockey sticks to tennis racquets and croquet mallets, nothing is off limits!

“The Chamber’s Putt, Pass & Chip Golf Tournament is a great opportunity for businesses to build a team of potential clients, valued customers, or standout employees, and market their company,” Meagen Korenek, director of special events, said. “It’s an effective way for sponsors to reach a captive audience, comprised of community leaders, stakeholders and business owners.”

Players can register online at as an individual ($200) or team of four ($700). Companies can register to be a hole sponsor to interact with players on the course and hand out company promo items players are sure to love. Sponsorships begin at $200. Chamber members also have the option to donate promo items (like golf balls, hats and sunscreen) for the players’ goodie bags. Members interested in this opportunity should deliver 120 items to the Chamber by October 18.
