The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Hosted Incorporation Education Session

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a 4 O’clock Speaker Session on Incorporation Education on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Landry’s Restaurant, The Woodlands. The session was held for members of The Chamber and the community to provide an educational opportunity with a panel of speakers on the topic of Incorporation.

The panel included: Gordy Bunch, Chairman of The Woodlands Township Board, Nelda Blair, Past Chairman of The Woodlands Township Board, Bruce Tough also Past Chairman of The Woodlands Township Board, Sheriff Rand Henderson, Montgomery County Sheriff, and representing the business community Mr. Danny Signorelli of The Signorelli Company. The session was moderated by Nicole Preston, General Manager for Community Impact Newspaper.

Some key topics discussed were the history of The Woodlands, proposed taxes, infrastructure, and impact to the community and businesses.

“Incorporation is an extremely important decision and it is vital for our members and the community to receive as much education on this topic ahead of the November 2021 election, ” explained JJ Hollie, President and CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. “Yesterday’s 4 O’clock Speaker Series was one of two sessions being hosted by The Chamber. In addition, we will be hosting a series of interviews on our weekly Between The Trees – Business Talk, every Wednesday at 11:00AM. The Chamber team will also be sharing FAQ’s on the topic across all of our Social Media Platforms.”

A second 4 O’clock Speaker Series on the topic of Incorporation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at The Woodlands Resort in their Lakeside Room.This session will feature more key officials who are knowledgeable on the topic of incorporation.
