THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Spring Creek Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in The Woodlands finished their 2021 National Day of Service project on October 21 by delivering clothing kits and toiletries to the Conroe VA Clinic in Conroe.

'Spring Creek would like to thank the Westwood Village Target and Dollar General #5702 in Tomball for their contributions and support of this project to give back to veterans who have served our nation,' said Kim Cantwell, First Regent of the chapter.

The DAR's members participate in activities that promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support educational opportunities for young people. DAR members all over the world perform millions of hours of volunteer service each year honoring veterans, supporting schools, awarding scholarships, preserving historical documents and landmarks, fostering good citizenship, and much more.
